Les Saintes is an archipelago of volcanic islets in the French Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. These tropical islands are located south of Guadeloupe, west of Marie-Galante and north of Dominica, in the heart of the inner arc of the Lesser Antilles. Of these nine islets, only two, Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas, are populated mainly by descendants of settlers from western France.
Due to its location in the Windward Islands archipelago, this territory benefits from a tropical climate tempered by the trade winds and experiences a biocenosis typical of the region, of which certain species, endemic to these islets, are protected. The population, whose economy is strongly oriented towards the sea, has developed a rich culture due to its European and Creole origins which is easily integrated into the Franco-Caribbean identity.

The accommodation is ideally located, not too far from amenities and far enough away to be quiet. The view from the balcony is breathtaking but to contemplate it you will have to walk up quite a hill !!! The accommodation is nicely decorated and very well equipped! We recommend it

We just decided in the morning of our arrival to go to Les Saintes and got a super quick reply by Françoise who was very kind to help us with our questions in English since my French is not the very best. She even picked us up on the pier, guided us renting a scooter and drove us up on the hill where her beautiful appartment is located at. The view from the terrace is stunning and just as you can see on the pictures. The appartment itself was very clean, the interieur composed fondly with many small details to be discovered. The kitchen offers almost everything you could ask for incl. dish washer and washing mashine. The terrace is equipped with a hammock and cozy deckchairs to hangout, enjoy the view on the sea and the village or watch the stars. We slept very well on the comfy bed. I can only hope to be back one day!

Very nice apartment well equipped and decorated, superb view of the bay, the terrace and its small garden are very pleasant. With our 2 little ones, 6 months and 2 and a half years old, the apartment was sufficiently safe and safe. Françoise greeted us very kindly at the pier, booked the taxi and was responsive to our requests during the stay.
